High school graduate or GED equivalent. |

| EXPERIENCE: |

Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute cares
hospital setting within the prior (3) years.

| OTHERS: |

- Current CNA Certificate from State of California Department of Health Services
- Valid BCLS card ( C-Course provider )
- Proficient in the English language
- Good verbal and written skills
- Current Health Certificate ( Proof of Rubella immunization or Rubella titer; documentation of Varicella; pre-employment physical examination and annual T.B. testing with chest x-ray for positive reaction)
- Certificate of completion in specialty nursing area
- Passing of nursing exams with a score of 85% or more

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CNA is responsible to the Agency Director of Nursing.
In being assigned to a medical facility through EZ Staffing Inc., the CNA is responsible to the assigned facility under the direction of the RN for providing quality care by:
- Providing basic patient care to age specific patient population such as adolescent, young adult, adult and older adult utilizing the nursing process.
- Providing general healthcare of an assigned group of patients; assisting with hygiene and all activities of daily living.
- Rendering patient care based on the developed nursing care plan.
- Observing, reporting and recording overt changes in patient condition and reporting problems in a timely manner to the appropriate person.
- Maintaining cleanliness of assigned patient and work area.
- Functioning in an effective manner in emergency situations.
- Carrying out basic patient care procedures safely, accurately and according to medical center protocol.
- Supporting health teaching and patient care delivered by licensed nursing personnel.
- Performing tasks and/or interacting with patients, families, staff and other personnel in a courteous, honest and compassionate manner.
- Documenting accurate basic data on appropriate forms.
